McKENZIE  RIVER

The McKenzie River

One of the most popular trout fisheries in the Pacific Northwest, The McKenzie River is a 90-mile tributary of the Willamette River, winding through acres of old-growth forest and farmland.

This watershed, well-known for its exceptional water quality is the only water source for the nearby cities of Eugene and Springfield and home to a variety of fish species including, native wild trout—rainbow, bull, and cutthroat trout—as well as wild spring Chinook.

A day on this beautiful river will not disappoint.

Hey, how's it going?
I'm Tyler-

I'm a born and raised Corvallis local. I have been exploring the streams of the Oregon Coast Range for most of my life. When I'm not on the river I'm busy at home with my wife and two children.
